PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Tegrital CR 300 Divitabs is a prescription antiepileptic medicine used to treat epilepsy (seizures) and trigeminal neuralgia. It helps control abnormal electrical activity in the brain, reducing the frequency of seizures and relieving severe nerve pain. This medicine should be taken regularly as prescribed by your doctor to achieve the best treatment outcomes.

KEY USES AND BENEFITS

Tegrital CR 300 Divitabs is used to treat epilepsy and trigeminal neuralgia. In epilepsy, it helps reduce the frequency of seizures and associated symptoms such as confusion, involuntary jerking movements, loss of awareness, and fear or anxiety, allowing you to carry out daily activities with greater confidence. In trigeminal neuralgia, it helps relieve sudden, severe facial pain by reducing irritation of the trigeminal nerve, making activities such as eating, speaking, and brushing teeth more comfortable.

COMPOSITION AND HOW IT WORKS

Tegrital CR 300 Divitabs contains Carbamazepine, an antiepileptic medicine. It works by reducing the abnormal and excessive electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain, helping prevent seizures. It also stabilizes overactive nerves responsible for trigeminal neuralgia, thereby reducing the frequency and intensity of pain episodes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take Tegrital CR 300 Divitabs exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is best taken at the same time every day. Continue taking the medicine for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel well. Do not stop taking it suddenly, as this may worsen your condition or trigger seizures.

Common side effects of Tegrital CR 300 Divitabs include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, sleepiness, constipation, unsteadiness or abnormal voluntary movements, dry mouth, itching, blurred vision, and slurred speech.
